BIC America has brought the Acoustech Elite Series PL-300 subwoofer to the market at a very good price. The tradeoff in designing subwoofers must be choosing between 1. maximizing the output or 2. maximizing the lowest bass frequency a subwoofer can deliver. Traditionally, the subwoofer engineer decides which tradeoff is best for the customer.

The top-of-the-line Elite Series Acoustech PL-300 subwoofer includes a “BASS BOOST” switch, “MAX OUTPUT” switch tri-tuned triple ports, and a port plug that allows you to choose your bass.

Enjoy exciting room-shaking bass below the lowest audible range of 20Hz. The PL-300 delivers clear and precise details to match perfectly with your other speakers that handle the midrange and treble. This performance was previously limited only to the more expensive subwoofers.

In “Bass Boost” mode with the center plugged in, the PL-300 delivers impressively high levels of all frequencies from 15Hz to 200Hz (+/- 3dB). In “MAX OUTPUT” mode, the PL-300 delivers even higher bass levels for almost all audible frequencies from 20Hz to 200Hz. For best performance in “MAX OUTPUT” mode, PORT PLUG has to remove from the center port.
